Lumen Ledger started with a simple frustration: running a business is hard enough without dreading the numbers.
Our story
Rosa Delgado spent twelve years as a controller, closing the books for growing companies. She saw the same thing everywhere: owners who were brilliant at their craft and quietly anxious about their numbers.
In 2021 she teamed up with engineer Daniel Brandt to build the accounting tool they wished existed. One that was quick to learn, honest about what it knew, and calm enough to open on a Monday morning.
Today more than eleven thousand businesses use Lumen Ledger. We are a team of sixty-four, spread across three offices, and we still read every piece of customer feedback.

Daniel Brandt
Co-founder and CTO
Daniel built payment and ledger systems for two fintech companies before co-founding Lumen Ledger. He leads engineering and security.

Amara has shaped finance products for small businesses for a decade. She believes the best software removes steps instead of adding features.
