Terms of Service

You must provide accurate information when you sign up and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account, and you must tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use Lumen Ledger.

Lumen Ledger provides cloud accounting software. We may improve, change or retire features over time, and we will give reasonable notice before removing a feature you rely on.

Lumen Ledger is a software tool. It does not provide accounting, tax or legal advice, and you remain responsible for the accuracy of your records and filings.

Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, as you choose. Fees are shown at checkout and exclude taxes unless stated. You can cancel at any time, and your plan will remain active until the end of the paid period.

Every plan begins with a 30-day free trial. We will remind you before the trial ends.

You own the data you put into Lumen Ledger. You give us permission to process it only as needed to provide the service. You can export your data at any time, and we will delete it 90 days after your account closes.

You agree not to misuse the service. This includes attempting to access accounts that are not yours, interfering with the service, uploading unlawful content or using the service to commit fraud.

We work hard to keep Lumen Ledger available and aim for 99.99 percent uptime, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We will announce planned maintenance in advance whenever possible.

To the extent permitted by law, Lumen Ledger is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim arose.

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, and we will give notice where we reasonably can.

We may update these terms from time to time and will notify you of material changes. Questions can be sent to legal@lumenledger.example.
