Security Engineer
Protect the financial records of thousands of businesses.
About the role
You will help keep Lumen Ledger secure by design, building protections into our systems, running assessments and responding to issues with calm professionalism.
Security here is a team sport. You will work closely with every engineering group, and your advice will be sought out.
What you will do
- Build and maintain security tooling, monitoring and alerting
- Review designs and code for security risks and suggest practical fixes
- Run our vulnerability management and responsible disclosure program
- Lead incident response exercises and improve our runbooks
- Support audits and customer security questionnaires
What you bring
- 5 or more years in application or infrastructure security
- Strong understanding of web application security and cloud environments
- Experience designing access controls and encryption practices
- Calm, clear communication under pressure
- Bonus: experience with SOC 2 or ISO 27001 programs
